Job Responsibilities
As an employee, your primary task is to provide support, motivation, and care to our clients. We work health-promoting with the aim of strengthening the individual's own abilities and ensuring that everyone living with us has the opportunity to live life to the fullest.

Job responsibilities include personal care, case management tasks, and social and physical activities with our clients.
We offer you a meaningful job where you have the opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge in palliative care, dementia, rehabilitative approaches, and transfer techniques.
You will currently be placed at the home care service in Domsjö/Hörnett. We also collaborate with nearby areas.
The position is a permanent employment at 100% with start date according to agreement.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who is a nursing assistant or has other education or experience that the employer deems sufficient. We prefer that you have further education in elderly care and/or dementia or have an educational focus on psychiatry. Experience working in care and support is an advantage.
It is important that you enjoy and thrive in working with people and that you are flexible and receptive to new ideas and working methods.
For the job, sufficient knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing is required to communicate with clients, perform care documentation, and obtain medication delegation.
A valid driver's license, category B, and access to your own car are required.

Approximately 2500 employees work in the welfare administration. During the interview, we will conduct an identity check and verify citizenship. Approved documents are passport, international ID card, driver's license + personal certificate from the Tax Agency, or other ID documents that strengthen citizenship. For certain positions, a certificate from the police's suspicion and criminal record may be required.
We welcome language skills in Finnish and/or any of the Sámi varieties as Örnsköldsvik Municipality is part of both Finnish and Sámi administrative areas.
In our municipality, several positions are classified for security, so a security review may take place. These positions require Swedish citizenship.
