JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a veterinarian with us, you will be part of our operation with daytime reception and around-the-clock preparedness where the health of the customer and the animals is at the center. With us, you will work with all species of animals, and we have a very stimulating and varied job. Our goal is to create a workplace where everyone enjoys their job and thereby has the right conditions to do a good job.
Preparedness is a natural part of the position, and we work according to a model that ensures recovery and rest.
As a veterinarian within the District Veterinarians, there is a unique opportunity to develop a broad competence across all species of animals, while also having the opportunity to specialize in a particular area.
As a veterinarian with us in Fränsta, you will work both in our small animal clinic and also go out into the field to horses and farm animals. For all species of animals, there are both planned/booked visits and emergency cases. You will receive a good introduction, and in your role, you will be able to get support and help from colleagues, the manager, or other expertise within the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a veterinarian with a few years of experience, preferably with small animals, but also feel comfortable working with large animals. You are confident in handling the most common emergency cases across all species of animals. Experience in small animal surgery or clinical experience working with horses and farm animals is an advantage. As a person, you are flexible and service-oriented towards our customers and your colleagues. You enjoy working together with others, but you can also be self-sufficient. Furthermore, you have good judgment and make decisions in line with the District Veterinarians.
Through your focus on good customer relationships, you retain existing customers while striving to attract new ones. To thrive with us, you need to be a team player who adapts to the group and has good communication skills. With a forward-looking attitude, you strive for both your own development and the development of your colleagues and the clinic.
Swedish veterinary license or special permission from the Swedish Board of Agriculture, a B driver's license, and proficiency in the Swedish language are required.
