At the Intensive Care Unit, we care for patients with failure of vital functions. We have about 35 employees in our department. We work in teams around the critically ill patient, where everyone has an important role to fill. There is a constant development in intensive care, and the advanced medical technology is a stimulating factor in our daily work.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant for the intensive care unit in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

Standard nursing assistant tasks within emergency care. The nursing assistant is responsible, together with the others in the team, for providing good care to the critically ill patient. Some components of the care include:

• Monitoring
• Sampling and catheter placement
• Preparation of equipment
• Observations of the patient's condition

To work in the intensive care unit, thorough training is required, which will be offered based on a structured approach.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained nursing assistant
• Can work irregular hours day/evening/night

It is advantageous if you

• Have training in intensive care or emergency care
• Have experience working in a hospital
