The maternity and gynecological care department, delivery ward, and specialist maternity care in Sundsvall are located in shared premises, have about 80 employees, and handle approximately 1400 deliveries per year. We have 14 care places and 7 delivery rooms. Our staff group has a combined competence of midwives, doctors, nurses, and nursing assistants. We have a close collaboration with the hospital's neonatal department located in nearby premises. At our workplace, we work with continuous improvements in the operations to create a good working environment, efficient processes, and to meet the needs of patients. We operate 24/7, which means you will work days, evenings, and nights. We work two out of five weekends.

We are now looking for a nurse for the BB/Gynecology department 12 at Sundsvall Hospital. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a temporary placement in the BB and Gynecology department in Sundsvall. The start date is March 15, 2026, or according to agreement until August 31, 2027.

In department 12 in Sundsvall, gynecological and obstetric patients are cared for. As a nurse, you will take care of our gynecological patients and minor obstetric cases. By utilizing the knowledge and experiences of patients/relatives, you provide quality care.

You will work with:

• Care of patients pre- and post-operatively.
• In early pregnancy, in cases of miscarriage and abortion.
• In gynecological cancer.
• At the end of life.

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you:

• Have work experience in maternity/gynecological care
