At Department 15, the Surgical Ward, you will work in a team with nurses, nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, and occupational therapists. We conduct a broad range of activities divided into upper and lower abdominal surgery, vascular and urological surgery, as well as inpatient ear, nose, and throat care. With us, you will learn something new every day!

We are now looking for nursing assistants/care assistants for the Surgical Ward 15 in Sundsvall for summer temporary positions in 2026 on a full-time basis.

As a nursing assistant with us, you play an important role in ensuring the patient's basic care needs. As an employee within the surgical department, you have great opportunities to develop your skills. The temporary position involves full-time work during days/evenings. Weekend work every other weekend. Individual introduction starting as early as possible before the holiday periods begin in week 25.

Nursing Assistant/Care Assistant Surgical Ward, Sundsvall Summer 2026

The work as a nursing assistant in the surgical ward involves qualified care. Working with us means:

• General and specific care of the surgical patient
• Preoperative preparations
• Postoperative checks
• Wound, stoma, and catheter care
• Documentation

Great importance is placed on personal suitability, and your most important asset is your care competence, as well as your commitment to the patients of the department and working forward in a positive spirit.

We are looking for you who

• Have a nursing assistant education or have completed semester 4 of the nursing education
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in surgical care
