We at the Specialist Psychiatric Care Team (SPOT) are now looking for four nursing assistants/caregivers/support assistants for summer vacancies in 2026, based in Örnsköldsvik. We can offer an exciting and varied job. We are a great team that enjoys working together and focuses on the patient. We provide a stimulating and good working environment. SPOT operates between 07:30-21:30 on weekdays and between 08:00-21:00 on weekends. We have a fixed schedule with a 6-week interval and work every third weekend.

The positions are for full-time summer vacancies from 2026-06-01 to 2026-08-16.

In the role of nursing assistant/support assistant, you will meet patients in need of acute and intensive psychiatric support. We are looking for someone who has a good ability to create supportive relationships with patients, relatives, and partners. Having a well-developed ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other professions is an important success factor. Patient work is carried out in the form of home visits, telephone counseling, outpatient visits, or video visits.

Your job responsibilities will include:

• Intensive psychiatric care (e.g., supportive conversations, anxiety management, and suicide prevention)
• Psychiatric assessments
• Teamwork
• Structure and planning
• Documentation
• Follow-up work
• Delegated medication administration
• Collaboration

We are looking for someone who

• Has training as a nursing assistant, support assistant, or caregiver
• Has experience in psychiatric care
• Has very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has a B driver's license

It is an advantage if you

• Have training in Case Management, Motivational Interviewing, and Step 1 training
• Have experience with psychiatric comorbidity
• Have additional language skills
