The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic is today one of the largest clinics in the country for the care of patients under the Forensic Psychiatric Care Act (LRV). We also have a mandate to care for particularly demanding patients under the Compulsory Psychiatric Care Act (LPT).

The clinic is in the midst of a major expansion with new construction to eventually have 10 care departments and 135 care places.

We are now looking for a nurse who is interested in coming to work with forensic psychiatric care.

The position is a full-time temporary position, starting by agreement until 2026-06-01, with a possible extension.

At RPK, we work with case management where the nurse has overall care responsibility. We work according to a structured care process in multiprofessional teams consisting of nurses, caregivers, doctors, psychologists, social workers, and occupational therapists. You will work with the daily operations of the department, and your tasks will also include participating in care interventions such as:

• conversations
• treatment interventions
• rounds
• documentation
• evaluation and implementation of nursing measures
• risk assessments
• care planning
• functional assessments
• medication administration

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in psychiatric care and treatment
• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have additional language skills
• Have a B driver's license
