Medicine Department 13/23 belongs to the southern primary care area. In our ward, we currently have 18 beds and care for patients with hematological diseases, nephrology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, rheumatology, and patients with general medical diagnoses. Here, patients are treated with chemotherapy and antibody treatments, PD, antibiotics, blood products, and a variety of other medications and nursing interventions. Many of our patients require close monitoring, and therefore, great emphasis is placed on the staff's attention to changes. Much focus is placed on nutrition and mobilization, as this is an important part of both infection care and cancer treatments. We have both planned admissions and also receive emergency patients around the clock, both from home and via the emergency department.

We have a multiprofessional teamwork around our patients, and we continuously work on improvements, internal training, and patient safety.

We are now looking for a nursing assistant for the medicine department in Sundsvall who can join this team! The position is a full-time temporary position for 6 months with start date according to agreement.

• Nursing care
• Sample collection
• Wound dressing
• Assisting in examinations

This position involves rotating shifts where you will work days, evenings, and weekends. Occasional nights may occur.

We are looking for someone who

• Has a valid nursing assistant education
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have further education in emergency care
• Have experience working in a hospital
