The Psychiatric County Service has three locations: Sundsvall/Härnösand, Örnsköldsvik, and Kramfors/Sollefteå. The clinic's target group is individuals aged 18 and above with psychiatric illnesses or mental health issues requiring psychiatric specialist competence. The specialized psychiatry primarily works with diagnostics, care, and treatment of mental illness and more severe mental disorders. All emergency services during evenings and weekends, as well as involuntary care, take place in Sundsvall and also cover Härnösand, Kramfors, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik.

The adult psychiatric reception in Sollefteå is part of the psychiatric county clinic and works in multiprofessional teams with caregivers, psychologists, social workers, secretaries, doctors, and nurses, where various therapeutic orientations are also represented, which is seen as a strength. Together, we have a really broad competence and offer an environment that we want to see as pleasant and developing for everyone.

We are now looking for a nurse to join our team! With us, you will have ample time for onboarding with the clinic's three experienced nurses. The job as a nurse offers a varied work experience with great flexibility to plan your workday independently.

The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-03-01.

Nurse for the Psychiatric Reception, Sollefteå Job Responsibilities

Typical job responsibilities at a psychiatric outpatient clinic include:

• Medication management, including dosage distribution and injections
• Telephone counseling
• Support conversations

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have specialist training in psychiatry
• Have work experience in specialized psychiatry
• Have good knowledge of English in both spoken and written form
• Have a valid driver's license (B)
