The Sleep Apnea Clinic receives patients referred for investigation of sleep apnea as well as those who have been diagnosed with sleep apnea and are to be treated with a CPAP machine. Initial contacts with our clinic usually take place in a group where we introduce sleep investigations, educate during treatment, and follow up on treatment starts. We also accept individual visits for treatment checks, and other patient contacts are via tele-Q or 1177. We are now looking for a nurse to join our team!

At the Sleep Apnea Clinic, we currently have three nurses and two nursing assistants, and our work team is characterized by a friendly, pleasant, and collegial spirit. Our work environment is filled with laughter and joy! We are a small group where we help each other and share most of the tasks at our clinic. We work to ensure that patients receive an optimal sleep apnea investigation and any subsequent treatment. Here, the patient is always at the center. You will receive an introduction to all aspects of our work with sleep apnea patients as well as the machines and accessories we use in our operations. Here you will be offered an exciting job with both individual patient consultations, group teaching, and medical technical tasks. The work is scheduled during daytime hours, Monday to Friday. Occasional travel may be required.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

Nurse for the Sleep Apnea Clinic, Sundsvall Job Responsibilities

As a nurse with us, your responsibilities will include:

• Being responsible for investigations of sleep apnea
• Testing and evaluating prescribed CPAP treatment
• Conducting individual patient visits
• Educating and informing patient groups about sleep apnea
• Providing feedback where we adjust CPAP settings and adapt mask choices
• Conducting treatment follow-ups on our patients and adjusting any treatment settings

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is advantageous if you:

• Have work experience in teaching
• Have several years of experience as a nurse
