The Cardiology Clinic in Sundsvall consists of a complete cardiology operation. We have, among other things, PCI operations around the clock, our own pacemaker unit for follow-up and implantation, and highly specialized clinics for the region's ACHD, PAH, and heart transplant patients. We are developing a cardiogenetic clinic. The care department in Sundsvall includes 28 heart monitoring places consisting of 6 cardiac intensive care places and 22 general cardiology care places. The clinic has a complete clinical physiology section staffed by our own personnel and clinical physiologists in close collaboration with the clinics. The cardiology department participates in several clinical trials with experienced research nurses. We are now looking for a resident physician to join us at the Cardiology Clinic!

As a cardiology resident, we welcome you to a pleasant community with close collaboration between cardiology and clinical physiology, an open-minded work environment where education and development are prioritized. During the residency training, you will have the opportunity to take on gradually increasing responsibilities, for example, leading rounds to a greater extent. You will be able to subspecialize during your residency. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting in February 2026.

As a resident physician with us at the Cardiology Clinic, your job responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Medical work under supervision according to the established training plan for resident physicians in cardiology
• Outpatient work, ward work, emergency work at the medical emergency department around the clock
• Supervision and education of junior colleagues

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a licensed physician
• Has specialist training in internal medicine
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you:

• Have a cosmic education
• Have experience working in a heart clinic and cardiology department
