The County Healthcare Somatics coordinates the county healthcare for specialized somatic care in Region Västernorrland. The somatic area consists of eleven county healthcare operations. The county healthcare operations are conducted at three hospitals: Sundsvall, Sollefteå, and Örnsköldsvik, and several clinics located in various towns in the county. The Orthopedics area is part of county healthcare somatics and conducts both planned and acute operations, focused on orthopedic injuries and diseases. This also includes the Orthopedic Technical Department and the Care Hotel at Sundsvall Hospital.

We are now looking for a nurse for the Orthopedic Department in Örnsköldsvik, which includes both planned and acute operations. The position is a permanent full-time employment with a temporary placement at the Orthopedic Department in Örnsköldsvik.

Your job responsibilities mainly consist of:

• Standard nursing tasks for a care department
• Care before and after surgery
• Pain management
• Mobilization and monitoring

We work closely with patients in care teams with doctors, nurses, nursing assistants, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists. In addition to direct patient work, we are all involved in the work of developing and improving care. Our goal is always to start from the patient's needs.

We are looking for you who

• Are a licensed nurse
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing

It is an advantage if you

• Have experience in orthopedics or acute care
