Department 16 in Sollefteå is part of the primary care area West. The primary care area West geographically includes Sollefteå and Kramfors Municipality, and in the area, there is a hospital located centrally in Sollefteå along the banks of the Ångerman River. Here is the small hospital with the big heart where we come together for the best of the patient. With us, there are short decision-making paths, close cooperation between units, and a great concern for those we are here for, the patients. In department 16, we work in teams with nursing assistants, doctors, and rehabilitation professionals. Here, patients with general medical conditions are cared for. You will encounter a varied patient group and have the opportunity to develop a broad competence in areas such as heart attacks, heart failure, COPD, diabetes, and more. Furthermore, you will face patients in different life stages and with different needs, so it is important that you are flexible in meeting the patient where he or she is.

We are now looking for a nurse to join our team at Medical Department 16. The position is a permanent employment with a start date according to agreement.

In department 16 in Sollefteå, patients with general medical conditions are cared for. Your job responsibilities will include:

• Standard nursing duties in a medical care department

In the department, we work closely around the patient, and you will work in a team with nursing assistants, doctors, and rehabilitation professionals. We are working based on an ongoing quality initiative within the Medical Clinic at Sollefteå Hospital called the P.I.F process, which stands for Patient In Focus. The fundamental principle is that we base every question on what is best for the patient.

If you are a newly graduated nurse when you start with us, you will participate in an enhanced introductory program during your first year. This is designed to help you feel secure in your new professional role and contribute to your professional development.
