Job Responsibilities

As a speech therapist within the education administration, you will work comprehensively to support the municipality's preschools and schools in Örnsköldsvik and be available for assignments throughout the entire organization.

The work involves providing consultation and guidance to staff in preschools/schools regarding children's and students' development of speech, language, communication, and reading and writing skills. The job also includes guiding adaptations based on assessments of children's and students' abilities in speech, language, communication, as well as reading and writing skills. You will also participate in planning interventions in the area of speech, language, and communication in collaboration with teachers and staff within student health.

Qualifications

We are looking for a licensed speech therapist with experience in guidance and consultation in your role as a speech therapist. You have a good pedagogical ability to understand children's and students' different conditions for acquiring knowledge. We would prefer you to have knowledge and experience of multilingualism. Having worked as a speech therapist in preschool and school is an advantage.

A valid driver's license, category B, is a requirement, and you need to have access to your own car for work.
