Are you detail-oriented and eager to learn a unique profession? We are looking for two laboratory assistants for Peab Asfalt in Sundsvall! Do you have an eye for details, enjoy both practical and administrative tasks, and want to become an expert in a niche area? On behalf of Peab Asfalt, we are now seeking two engaged colleagues for an exciting consulting assignment in Sundsvall, with excellent opportunities for a future permanent position directly with Peab.

As a laboratory assistant at Peab Asfalt, you will have a unique opportunity to learn the profession from the ground up. You will be part of an operation responsible for quality assurance of asphalt, gravel, and bitumen. The work is crucial to ensure that the materials meet the right quality, both for internal production and for external customers.

As a person, you should be meticulous, have a positive attitude, and possess the ability to build good relationships.

This is a consulting assignment starting in March 2025. After 6 months as a consultant, there are good chances for a permanent position directly with Peab Asfalt.

Responsibilities

• The role includes everything from receiving and registering samples to analysis and

reporting.

• Perform ongoing production and quality controls (analyses) of asphalt, aggregates, and bitumen, soil, etc.
• Follow established processes and routines to ensure the highest precision.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form
• Driver's license B

Meritorious:

• Similar work experience or equivalent experience from a lab environment
• Technical education
