Västernorrland is one of five regions in the country that, on behalf of the National Board of Health and Welfare, conducts national highly specialized care (NHV) for severe eating disorders. We at the National Highly Specialized Care in Region Västernorrland offer intensive treatment for individuals over 18 years old, based on many years of experience in eating disorder care. NHV has a close collaboration with other services within the county's psychiatric operations in Västernorrland. We are now looking for a nurse to join the team! The position is a permanent full-time employment with a start date according to agreement.

As a nurse, you will participate in a team that offers eating disorder treatment to individuals suffering from severe eating disorders. The treatment is multifaceted, and your responsibilities will include, among other things:

• Environmental therapy
• Somatic care
• Group therapy
• Support during meal situations for patients
• Dialogue with patients and relatives about care

You will also:

• Establish care planning together with the team
• Conduct somatic assessments
• Administer medication

Knowledge development is important in the operation. Both internal training and collaboration with other NHV units for training will take place. At the same time, regular supervision will be provided.

Opportunities for further education and research are available. The position involves working irregular hours such as evenings and nights.

We are looking for someone who

• Is a licensed nurse
• Has several years of experience working as a nurse
• Has good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing

It is advantageous if you

• Have further education in psychiatry
• Have work experience in psychiatry
