The Medicine Clinic in Örnsköldsvik is a clinic with about 30 doctors. The clinic operates in several subspecialties (cardiology, hematology, gastroenterology, endocrinology, nephrology, as well as rheumatology, neurology, and geriatrics). In our unit, we have a great community, a positive spirit, and a good working environment. There are good opportunities for support and professional development. We have experienced colleagues and a good collaborative climate. We are now looking for two senior physicians for the Medicine Clinic in Örnsköldsvik. The position is a permanent full-time employment starting on 2026-01-01.

Senior Physician for the Medicine Clinic, Örnsköldsvik

The main job responsibilities include being responsible for medical investigations, assessments, and treatment of patients. The role also includes administrative work. You will participate in the on-call line including backup on-call and work in a team with physician colleagues and other professionals.

The clinic also trains medical candidates in addition to colleagues in training (e.g., AT/BT doctors). You are expected to participate in teaching and mentoring medical students as well as less experienced colleagues and attend collegial meetings.

We are looking for you who

• Are a specialist in internal medicine
• Have at least 2 years of full-time clinical practice after obtaining specialist competence
• Can work independently as backup on-call in internal medicine with broad internal medicine competence.
• Have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form

It is an advantage if you

• Have teaching and/or mentoring experience not older than 3 years
• Have a doctoral degree with active research in a relevant field
• Have leadership and administrative experience/training
