Part-time Job as Contact Person or Escort

Are you looking for a stimulating and developing part-time job a few hours a week/month, where you can contribute to a person with disabilities participating in community life and enjoying a meaningful and stimulating leisure time? We are looking for you who want assignments as a Contact Person or Escort for children, youth, and adults with special needs.

Assignment times are scheduled on weekdays, weekends, and evenings. You will perform the assignment based on the individual's needs and interests. We expect you to have a good ability to take initiative, as you will be responsible for planning and executing meetings and activities.

Contact Person

The role of the Contact Person is primarily to be a friend who is there and shares the individual's interests and wants to make an effort to strengthen the individual both socially and in their independence. The most important thing is that you as a Contact Person instill trust and security and are curious to support the individual further in life. Together with the individual, you will choose what to do during your time together, which could be going for a walk, having coffee, or exercising. Important aspects of the assignment include guiding and advising the individual in everyday situations that are not too complicated for other expertise to be consulted. Therefore, we would like you to have qualities that can serve as a role model for the individual.

Escort

The role of the Escort is to accompany individuals to and from activities outside the home, such as swimming, gym training, or going to the movies. As an escort, you enable social contacts and leisure activities under safe conditions and contribute to breaking isolation.

Qualifications

Personal suitability is of utmost importance as we have individuals with varying needs and health conditions. To be suitable for the assignment, we believe you are attentive, empathetic, driven, and service-minded. We are looking for individuals who enjoy socializing with others, who are interested in how others feel, and who have a stable and secure life situation. You need to have an interest in creating a relationship that lasts over time and the willingness to engage. It is advantageous if you have some form of care and support experience or similar education.

Before you are assigned a role as a Contact Person or Escort, we would like to meet you to get a picture of who you are and what your possibilities for an assignment might look like. But also to assess whether you have the qualities required for a role as a Contact Person or Escort.

A certain compensation is provided for the assignment, in the form of hourly fees and expense reimbursements.

Please note that this is an expression of interest and therefore not tied to a specific assignment.

Recruitment is ongoing, and candidates are called based on the assignments available and suitable matching. The matching is based on the preferences of the individual, which may include gender, age, interests, and if necessary, experience with individuals with special needs.

When you receive your extract, you will then present it to the recruiting manager.
