As a BI Developer and Tech Lead at Swedish Export Credit in Stockholm, you will work across the entire BI flow from start to finish, from Data Engineering to Data Analysis. This is What You Will Do with Us

We are responsible for managing, further developing, and supporting solutions for information management, including analysis and reporting, for SEK's various business areas. We primarily work in a Microsoft environment and use T-SQL for ETL and data storage, PowerBI and SSRS for reports, as well as OLAP and Tabular cubes for further analysis. Python is also used for calculations and analysis, and we see a growing need to combine this with cloud-based solutions in Azure. This is what our environment looks like – you don't need to know all areas, but be prepared to learn.

We strive for automation to the greatest extent possible in the development process, and it is only in exceptional cases that we have manual handling of deployments today. Quality and traceability are important to us, and we use GIT, Jira, and Azure DevOps as our main tools to ensure this.

Almost all data processing from business systems occurs at night and with the help of a scheduling tool (Universal Automation Center from Stonebranch). Each development team is responsible for the further development of their respective flows.

For You, This Means That You:

• Gather and interpret requirements, where you advise and contribute your expertise to create an understanding of the business needs, and the technical solution that best meets those needs
• Develop our data warehouses, analytics tools, database solutions, and analysis cubes
• As Tech Lead, collaborate with other TLs and architects on architectural issues, deepen your knowledge in one or more business areas, and be a role model regarding best practices

Your Team and Workplace

The BI team is a group of about 15 colleagues, both consultants and employees, with a wide range of expertise. Within the team, we are divided into four smaller groups, each with its own Tech Lead, focused on their respective business areas. We work closely with other development teams, SEK's security and operations teams, and our colleagues in the business.

Our office is located at Fleminggatan 20 in Stockholm, and we meet at least three days a week in the office, but otherwise have a flexible working style and remote work when it suits the task.

More About You

We are looking for someone who has worked with T-SQL for at least 5 years, as a BI developer focused on ETL, or as an analyst. You currently work in, or have previous experience in, the banking or finance industry, and have likely started using Python as part of your daily routine. Azure DevOps and/or cube development is a plus.

You are comfortable with both Swedish and English as working languages.
