The adapted primary school in Alingsås consists of two units, grades 1-6 at the newly built Noltorpsskolan and grades 7-9 at Nolhagaskolan, which is centrally located in Nolhagaparken with access to both a sports hall, ice rink, swimming pool, and nature. Here you will find outdoor gyms, beautiful walking paths, and proximity to the lake.

To meet the students based on their conditions, the schools have several special teachers, qualified teaching assistants, and smaller classes with high staff density. Active work to create a structured and predictable environment that provides good conditions for learning and high goal achievement.

As a special educator for the adapted primary school in Alingsås, you will follow the student's knowledge development all the way from grades 1 to 9 and contribute to security during the transition between stages. JOB DESCRIPTION

As a special educator in the adapted primary school, you are responsible for pedagogical mapping and guidance of staff. You are an important part of the units' student health teams and actively participate in student health meetings. In this role, you have a central function in the schools' development work together with school management and lead teachers. Together with the educators, you are involved in designing, following up, and developing action programs to ensure that each student receives the right support.

QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements for the position are that you are an educated special educator or special teacher with a focus on intellectual disabilities and that you have experience working with students with intellectual disabilities.

As a person, you are solution-focused and see collaboration with the student health team and educators as a natural part of your assignment.

You have a salutogenic approach and work proactively and preventively with the student's learning environment.

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
