Do you want to help create safety and joy for the youngest patients in healthcare? In our children's department, we work with child-centered care where compassion, playfulness, and professionalism go hand in hand. Here, you make a difference every day, both for the children and their families.

The area of operation (VO) for children and youth includes all emergency hospital units with 24/7 emergency care for medical patients aged 0 to 18 years, children's and youth departments, neonatal department, day care, scheduled outpatient clinics in Ängelholm, Landskrona, and Helsingborg, as well as parent and youth health clinics. We are a team of approximately 250 employees working within this area. The VO also includes play therapy, an educational activity for children and youth receiving care in the hospital, as well as their siblings and relatives.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, your responsibilities as a nurse are varied as we care for patients from different specialties. You will work with the care of children and adolescents with medical, surgical, and orthopedic diagnoses.

Here, you will have a meaningful job where you meet children of different ages and situations. We work with child-centered care, which means we consider the child's needs, create a safe environment, and use play and creativity as part of the care.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed nurse with the authority to practice within Swedish healthcare. You must have Swedish language skills at least equivalent to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale. Experience in pediatric nursing is an advantage.

We see that you have a strong interest in working with pediatric care. You are a person with a big heart, a calm demeanor, and the ability to be trustworthy and create calm in difficult moments. Furthermore, you are empathetic and attentive in your interactions with children and their families, and you see the whole picture in your work. We value good collaboration skills and enjoy working together in an engaged team. Personal suitability is highly important to us.
