At Hässleholm Hospital, there is a strong operation within internal medicine, neurology, and rehabilitation medicine. We are two healthcare units currently operating on the same ward plan, the medicine department and the neurology and rehabilitation department (NORAH). We are now entering a new phase where we are building for the future and have therefore implemented a reorganization to increase quality and accessibility for our patients. As part of this work, from spring 2026, we will streamline neurology and rehabilitation into two separate departments. We are therefore looking for nurses for our new neurology department.

• You are a licensed nurse or in your final semester of nursing education, with curiosity for nursing and rehabilitation work within our profile areas.
• You may have experience working in hospitals within acute care, internal medicine, or neurology.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you will be offered a varied and stimulating job where no day is the same. In the neurology department, you will meet patients with various neurological diseases such as stroke and epilepsy. Many of our older patients also have multiple diseases in their medical history, which means you will be offered a varied and stimulating job. Medicine patients are also present in the department.

Together with your colleagues, you will be responsible for the patient's care, treatment, and nursing. We work with a person-centered approach to best promote our patients' well-being and health. In our multiprofessional teams, you will work as a nurse alongside nursing assistants, doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, speech therapists, pharmacists, dietitians, and medical secretaries. You will also have coordinators during the day who take care of daily operations and an SVU coordinator who manages My Plans and ensures that discharges to the municipality occur as smoothly as possible.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with permission to practice within Swedish healthcare. Language skills in Swedish at least corresponding to level C1 according to the Council of Europe's level scale are required. We welcome both experienced and newly graduated nurses.

As a person, you have a positive attitude and see opportunities, which is evident in your ability to adapt and adjust your working methods according to changing circumstances that arise in everyday life. In contact with patients and relatives, we expect you to be attentive and have a humble and empathetic approach. You are curious and want to learn new things, which is reflected in your way of taking your own initiatives at the workplace. We also want you, just like us, to value and promote good cooperation both with colleagues and the immediate manager in the unit as well as with external partners and other operations at the hospital.
