Orust Montessori Preschool is now looking for a preschool teacher for our 1-3 year old department. The department consists of 8 children and 2 educators.

We are a free school with preschool, school, and after-school care for about 100 children aged 1–12 years. The operation is located in Henån on Orust, close to forests and the sea. The school is run as a cooperative and has, since its inception in 1993, offered great commitment and pedagogical competence in the work of giving children the best possible start in life – with security, curiosity, knowledge, and self-esteem in their baggage. The Montessori pedagogy's view of learning and development shapes our operations.

Job Responsibilities:

You will contribute to creating a safe, calm, and inspiring environment for the children on a daily basis. With the help of tools such as observation, documentation, and reflection, we make children's learning processes and needs visible and determine the direction for the next step in the pedagogical work.

Qualifications:

• licensed preschool teacher

It is an advantage if you have further education in Montessori pedagogy. Otherwise, an interest in Montessori pedagogy and working according to its principles is a requirement.
