The home care service in Grums Municipality is divided into three areas: Central, Northern, and Southern.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a care assistant in the home care service, you will perform qualified care and service tasks based on individual needs and conditions. The work is primarily carried out in the client's home, sometimes together with your colleagues and sometimes alone, but escorting may also be part of your duties. We work to create conditions for a meaningful and rich daily life for the elderly and to strengthen and preserve their well-being.

You will provide professional, individualized care, respecting the individual and ensuring their participation and self-determination as the foundation of your work. Your care and service tasks will be of high quality and have a strong customer focus.

Specific tasks include:

• Personal care
• Medical tasks based on delegation
• Cooking and other practical tasks in the living environment
• Meeting the elderly's needs for daily living
• Contributing to meaningful activities and community with others
• Documentation according to the Social Services Act and the Health and Medical Services Act

We document our work in the LifeCare system. Services are planned in the LifeCare system, and working hours vary between day, evening, and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a trained care assistant and are interested in working in home care. We prefer that you have previous experience in elderly care, especially in home care. You have a strong service orientation, are attentive to the needs of the elderly, are used to working independently, and take responsibility for your work. You are cheerful and positive and have the ability to adapt to new and unexpected situations. We offer you an independent job with significant responsibility, and we place great importance on your personal qualities. Of course, you share our values of being professional, welcoming, engaged, and participatory!

Since we are legally required to document our work, it is essential that you are computer literate and can express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You should be an experienced mobile user as we have keyless home care.

A valid B driver's license is desirable as you will be driving to clients in the northern and southern areas.

Before employment can occur, you must present an approved extract from the Police Criminal Records. The extract can be ordered free of charge at www.polisen.se. It usually takes between 1-2 weeks to receive it by mail.
