We are now looking for an experienced case officer for full-time work with child and youth cases in Gagnef municipality in beautiful Dalarna! The assignment requires at least 5 years of professional experience in case management within social child and youth care for ages 0-18. The assignment requires you to work on-site at least three days a week, the remaining time is approved for remote work. The assignment starts on 2025-02-03 (or as soon as possible) and runs until 2025-05-31 with a chance of extension for up to three months.

The tasks involving authority include making preliminary assessments, investigating, and following up on cases according to both SoL and LVU. The workgroup currently consists of 5 social workers, 1 family home secretary, 1 family law secretary, 2 receivers, 1 senior social worker, and a unit manager shared with the adult group.

Overall Competence Requirements:

➡ Approved social work degree. For foreign social work education, it must meet the criteria from the National Board of Health and Welfare to work with tasks within social services for child and youth care through a certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare.

➡ At least 5 years of professional experience in case management within social child and youth care.

➡ Independently master current legislation in the area of SoL and LVU.

➡ Independently handle the various parts of case management within social child and youth care.

➡ Hold a valid driver's license B.

➡ Have good knowledge of the Office suite.

➡ Have good computer skills and knowledge of the operational system Lifecare.

➡ Communicate well in Swedish, both orally and in writing.
