JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The tasks as a Support Assistant/Healthcare Assistant in the service housing operate according to LSS to provide the residents with a good quality of life. This means positively encouraging and engaging each person towards increased independence, as well as creating continuity and security, supporting their daily activities based on a pedagogical approach. Daily work includes support and guidance in personal care, meals, medication management, hygiene, and being a support in social activities.

Together with other staff, you work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the user to develop their abilities and to ensure that the user has the greatest possible influence and participation in the intervention.

You work to create care of good quality and are expected to work with all senses to contribute to a rich, exciting, active, and independent life for people with disabilities. Contributing to creating a safe atmosphere and stability is also an important part of the work.

QUALIFICATIONS

For this position, a high school education in health and care, child and leisure, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer is desirable. Knowledge of LSS legislation is an important foundational knowledge. Previous experience in LSS operations and further training in autism, low-arousal responses, clarifying pedagogy, or sign language support is meritorious.

You have a reflective approach and the ability to plan, structure, and prioritize in your daily work. You share your knowledge and experiences with your colleagues and see it as natural to contribute to a positive work climate.

You have good computer skills and experience with documentation. Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is a requirement. A driver's license is also required. Personal suitability is highly valued.
