We are now looking for a Personal Assistant for a wonderful 7-year-old boy with autism and epilepsy who lives south of Stockholm. He needs support in his daily life to develop and thrive. We are looking for someone with a big heart, positive energy, and a desire to make a difference.

About the position: As a personal assistant, you will be a support and security for the boy in his daily life. Your tasks will include:

• Playing and engaging him in ways that stimulate and develop his abilities.
• Working on training various tasks, such as creating routines and promoting communication.
• Encouraging and supporting him in activities.
• Working based on his needs and conditions with a calm and positive approach.
• Training on using visual supports and other communication aids.
• Assisting with showering, hygiene, and dressing tasks.

The role also includes being a calm and stable support during other moments in daily life. Your role is to create security and help the user have a meaningful and pleasant day.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities (preferred).
• Is attentive, responsible, positive, and engaged.
• Is confident and can handle stressful situations, such as during epileptic seizures (training and support will be provided).

Additional Information

• Employment type: Hourly employed
• Working hours: Weekdays between 15:30-21:00. Weekends daytime: 07:30-14:00. Evening: 14:00-21:00.
• Start date: By agreement.

We apply individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted on an ongoing basis, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
