Job Advertisement: Store Salesperson at Stadsmissionen's Secondhand

We are currently looking for several new colleagues for our secondhand store in Tornby and pop-up store in I-huset who can work extra as needed and during the absence of regular staff.

As a temporary employee, you will gain valuable experience in retail, warehousing, and transportation that will be invaluable in your future career.

About the Job

With us, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced and varied environment, in an industry that is rapidly growing! As a store salesperson, you create conditions for our customers to find the products they are looking for. This means that you restock items and ensure that the store is inspiring and attractive, well-stocked with our products. In our stores, we sell clothes, furniture, and home decor in a wide and varied assortment. You will provide our customers with the best possible service by assisting them when needed and processing them at the checkout.

In our store in Tornby, you will also work in the warehouse where we sort incoming goods from our transportation operations. Here, you will also work with job integration, which means you will work alongside participants with different backgrounds, conditions, and ethnicities.

Who Are You?

You are a social person who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. Your ability to take initiative is appreciated; we work both independently and together to create the best shopping experience for our customers. You thrive on having a lot of responsibility and want to grow and develop in the role of store salesperson. We believe you have a strong commitment to sustainability and reuse, and we would like you to have an aesthetic sense with a feeling for color and form.

The ability to invite social interaction and show respect for participants, colleagues, and volunteers is essential for success in this role. You share Stadsmissionen's values of equality for all people and want to contribute to a more humane society.

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Has experience as a store salesperson
• Understands the Swedish language in speech and writing
• Is at least 18 years old

Since the work can be physically demanding and involve heavy lifting, you should have good physical capabilities for this.

A posted position may be preceded by a six-month probationary period if necessary. In several of our operations, we require a criminal record extract before hiring.
