Our Offer

The Primary Care Center Östergötland consists of 33 region-run health centers, four emergency centers, the Finspång Health Center, the child health care unit, the vaccination clinic, 1177, and the general medicine training center. We provide a broad primary care service offering care to everyone throughout their lives; newborns, children, adolescents, adults, the elderly, and patients at the end of life.

The health center is centrally located in Skäggetorp in pleasant and functional premises. The approximately 9,000 patients registered at the health center largely have a multicultural background, making the patient's encounter and relationship with care particularly significant.

Job Description

We offer you a challenging and varied job at our medical clinic. We hope you will be interested in the breadth of the specialty of general medicine and consider a future in primary care. As a doctor with us, you will receive regular, scheduled supervision and the opportunity to participate in training with other colleagues. You will participate in the workplace's weekly doctors' meetings and other forums. As support in your work and for supervision beyond your scheduled supervision time, there is a specialist in general medicine available as a question doctor. The introduction will be tailored to your needs.

Work Group

Currently, about 40 employees from various professions work at the health center. There is also a training clinic for doctors educated in other countries.

About You

We are looking for someone with a Swedish medical license (attached to the application). Furthermore, you have Swedish language skills corresponding to level C1. Since you work in constant dialogue with patients, relatives, colleagues, and other operations, it is a requirement that you have very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing.

As a person, you are self-assured and have good collaboration skills. You have good judgment and communicate clearly. It is also important that you are unpretentious, curious to learn new things, and see constructive feedback as a natural part of daily work. You can plan, organize, and prioritize your work. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
