As a substitute worker in Bräcke home care Linköping, you contribute to enabling more people to stay at home longer.

Your role

As a substitute worker, you will work at Solrosens Trygghetsboende and in the areas of Valla and T1 – an easily accessible area where you can smoothly get around with our service bicycles. Working as a substitute means that you step in when regular staff are absent, which can be anything from a few hours to longer periods. Before you work independently, you will shadow experienced staff and participate in training in medication delegation, so that you feel secure in the responsibilities included in the role.

Your job includes

• Services at the sheltered housing Solrosen and Översten
• Services in regular housing that you can easily cycle to
• Personal care and support with daily tasks
• Documentation in Treserva
• Encouraging activity at the sheltered housing (breakfast club, chair gymnastics, and social game sessions)

Who we are looking for

To thrive with us, we believe you are a person who easily adapts to new routines in independent work and together with others. In the customer's home, you are attentive to the needs present and take the initiative for activities and problem-solving in everyday life.

Qualifications

• You are at least 18 years old
• You can cycle
• You have a passing grade in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a second language 1, at the high school level. Being able to master the Swedish language in speech, writing, and reading comprehension is a requirement. Other language skills may be an advantage.
• It is an advantage if you have education or previous work experience in care and nursing

Bräcke Home Care Valla/T1

At Valla/T1, nursing assistants, nurses, and the operations manager work in a cohesive and positive workgroup. Here we have fun at work and care for a pleasant atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. Together we carry out our services at the sheltered housing Solrosen and Översten as well as in the easily bikeable surrounding area around Valla/T1.

The operation is part of Bräcke diakoni, which has overall responsibility for home care, home health care, and home rehabilitation in Linköping City South.
