About the position

As a Cost Estimator at West Pipe Welding, you will be a key person in the bidding process. You will work closely with project managers and salespeople. The role involves combining technical understanding with business acumen, where you are responsible for producing accurate calculations and ensuring that the documentation is professional and competitive.

Responsibilities

• Receive and analyze customer inquiries
• Compile documentation for quotes, cost, and time estimates
• Coordinate internally as well as with suppliers, subcontractors, and consultants
• Report deviations and incidents in the IA system

We are looking for someone who

• Has experience in reading drawings/piping isometrics and steel contracting.
• Has good language skills in Swedish and English.
• Has good computer skills, especially in CAD, Excel, and Word.
• Has knowledge of EN ISO 3834–2, EN 1090-1 & 2, and EN 5817.
• Has an understanding of welding and materials science.
• Is communicative, service-oriented, and meticulous.
• Has a B driver's license.

Education and experience in construction law is a merit.
