We are now looking for a housing supporter to join our team at Lästringe-Alma's LSS operations in Tystberga. We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The positions are part-time, approximately 85-95%. About the organization The Lästringe-Alma operations have extensive experience in providing support and services to individuals with needs according to LSS. There are 3 residential units and a daily activity center, each unit has its own team that collaborates closely with each other. In the organization, there is a nurse who plays an important role for our target group and our teams. The focus of the operations is to provide comprehensive support and services to individuals who live and have their activities with us, to live as independently as possible with the highest possible quality of life on their own terms. We have expertise in neuropsychiatric disabilities with or without mild intellectual disabilities, comorbidity/mental health issues, and we collaborate significantly with psychiatry and other agencies. 

About the role In the role of housing supporter, you will start from the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life based on a pedagogical approach. Together with other staff members, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. The working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, weekends, and on-call duty.

You will have a unit manager close to you who is available in the organization. There may also be future career opportunities for you within the company.  

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in health and care or another equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. In other respects, your CV is not the most important. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and opportunities to grow.
