As a nurse in Trosa municipality, you will have a varied life with rewarding meetings in a beautiful environment. Here, we care for and support patients with many different diseases and conditions.

Currently, there are 24 nurses, 6 occupational therapists, 5 physiotherapists, and 2 nursing assistants working in the Health and Medical Care Unit. We nurses are placed within home care, which includes special housing as well as ordinary housing. We are currently looking for a nurse for a temporary position in home care. As a newly hired nurse, you will receive a mentor who will guide you through the introduction during your first time. You will have a recurring fixed check-in time with your mentor who introduces you to the workplace, colleagues, and patients.

WHAT DOES YOUR ROLE AS A NURSE INVOLVE?

As a nurse in home care, you will have an independent and varied job, with the responsibility to plan your work yourself. You will perform and be responsible for unplanned and planned home visits with assessments, medication management, and nursing interventions. We work with the patient at the center and consider each person's individual needs for care and support.

We have a Clinical Training Center (KTC) that is used for competency supply in the municipality.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You who are applying are/have:

• Licensed nurse
• Ability to express yourself well in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Good computer and documentation skills
• Driving license B

You have good collaboration skills and contribute to a good atmosphere and team spirit. You are open to people's differences and see these as an asset, as well as having an empathetic and understanding ability. You adapt your approach according to the patient and the circumstances. We value your pedagogical ability to explain what is happening to patients and relatives.
