ABOUT THE POSITION:

We are looking for a Calculation Engineer on behalf of our client who will be part of a team consisting of calculation engineers, mechanical designers, and project managers. Together, you will work to drive improvements and investments in the company's high-tech production facility. In this role, you will be involved in the entire process, from idea to finished production equipment, and participate in various types of projects. You will closely collaborate with designers to ensure that the mechanical strength meets standards and requirements. Your expertise is a vital part of the work, and you will provide support and advice to project managers, designers, and production engineers.

Your tasks include:

• Strength calculations of structures
• Simulations using finite element methods
• Cable management simulations
• Planning and optimizing calculation assignments
• Order management

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has a master's degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering with a focus on some form of calculation
• Has at least two years of work experience in mechanical design and calculation work according to Eurocode
• Is fluent in Swedish and English as both languages are used in the work

It is not necessary, but advantageous if you have:

• Basic knowledge of machine safety, AFS, and CE marking
• Previous experience in cable manufacturing and cable management
• Knowledge of WindChill, SolidWorks, and Ansys

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT:

This is a consulting assignment, which means that you will initially be employed by Friday. The ambition is that you will eventually be directly employed by the client.
