About Me and the Role:

I am a social guy who thrives best when my days consist of a good mix of calm moments and fun activities, such as swimming, playing games, walking, and having coffee. In addition, I have a great interest in music, ice hockey, and shopping. I enjoy meeting family and friends and regularly attend meetings in various associations.

I have a cerebral palsy disability, use a wheelchair, and have a tracheostomy and gastrostomy. As my personal assistant, you will help me both at home and in other environments I frequent. Your task is to support and assist me in living an active and independent life. You will help with personal care, medication, household maintenance, medical visits, and social activities. I do not have a spoken language, so you will assist me with all communication. Right now, I live with my parents but plan to move to my own residence. There are two cats in the home.

About the Person I Am Looking For:

You have a strong interest in working with people and treat others positively and respectfully. You should be able to work both independently and in a team, follow routines and decisions with my best interests in focus. It would be great if you share some of my interests!

As a person, you are calm, secure, responsible, and have a high work ethic. You see opportunities instead of obstacles, are positive, and solution-oriented. You view the work as a personal assistant as long-term, as continuity is important for everyone involved. Personal suitability is highly valued.

Qualifications:

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
You should be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written.
Documentation is part of the job, so you need good communication skills and computer literacy.

Meritorious:

Previous experience in personal assistance.
Previous experience in low-arousal responses.
Knowledge of tracheostomy and gastrostomy.
Previous experience with Alternative and Augmentative Communication.

Scope:

According to a rolling schedule of about 75% day, evening, night, and weekend.

Start Date:

Immediately or as agreed.
