Company Description

Securitas plays an important role in society and manages one of Sweden's most important missions - to protect and help people feel safe. Now you have the chance to become part of Sweden's largest security company. Whether you want to work a lot or a little, day or night, we need more people.

As the country's largest employer in our industry, we can offer you development opportunities and variety that few other companies can. We strive for a uniform leadership with a balance between expectations and conditions.

Securitas Sweden places its personnel in wartime. This means that you, as an employee, will retain your employment and be managed by Securitas in the event of war.

You take care of people's safety – Securitas takes care of you.

About the Role

Do you want to make a difference? If you are not already a trained guard, Securitas will cover your training before employment.

As a patrolling guard, your main task is to deliver safety to our customers – primarily at industries, offices, and workshops – by protecting property and buildings from fire, theft, and damage. Usually, you will manage the alarm systems and report using a computerized patrol information system. The work is independent and often perceived as free, but with great responsibility.

As a stationary guard, you are the face of our customer and become the first contact with the customer's visitors, employees, and contractors visiting the workplace. You often work at the entrance, checking those who pass in and out, but you will also administer access cards, locks, and alarms. You work independently and under your own responsibility. As a guard, you deliver safety by being attentive and ensuring that everything is in order. The tasks vary from customer to customer.

The positions are suitable for those who enjoy working with people and helping them in their daily lives. As a guard at our office in Kiruna, you will become part of a close-knit team. The tasks are highly varied, and as a guard, you can work both indoors and outdoors, night or day. The length of shifts varies, but they are often 12-hour shifts either day or night. Since we are a business that operates every day of the year, it is common to work every other weekend.

If you are not a trained guard, we will train you! The guard training lasts for 9 working days and usually takes place in Kista or Luleå.

We are safety. We are Securitas.
