Work as an Arrestant Guard at Securus

We are looking for individuals who want to work as guards/arrestant guards in Luleå. The position involves working as an arrestant guard and, together with your colleagues, managing the operation of the detention center and, when necessary, monitoring temporary facilities that arise in cases of suspected crimes. The position entails permanent employment with an initial 6-month probationary period. We need staff who can work on an on-call basis. The employment can start with basic training that provides you with the right tools and knowledge to perform the work when required.

We are looking for both individuals who are willing to work on-call. The detention center is staffed by Securus personnel in the evenings, nights, and weekends. At other times, the detention center is staffed by the authorities' personnel. As we are responsible for staffing several detention centers in Sweden, there is the opportunity for those who are willing to travel to also work temporarily in locations other than their primary place of work.

Qualifications for the Position

We are looking for individuals who are guards. As Securus is a security-classified company that largely works with public authorities, a security clearance with a registry check is carried out in accordance with the Security Protection Act.

Swedish citizenship and fluent proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, are required for the position. The position occasionally involves accessing and conveying necessary information regarding the authorities' handling of detained individuals. You also need to be able to speak and understand English.

It is advantageous if you are trained as an arrestant guard and have experience working in a detention center or similar facility.
