We are looking for

We are looking for someone with a high school education. It is advantageous if you have security training and/or post-secondary education. You have good administrative skills and computer skills, and it is advantageous if you have experience in data protection work, security work, and technical expertise in operational security. Experience in establishing routines and instructions is also considered advantageous.

What you will work with

As a security coordinator, you are directly subordinate to the head of the business area and work on his/her assignment and mandate. The work is carried out in accordance with current regulations. It involves collaboration with the prison and probation service, the police, and other forensic psychiatric clinics based on security issues such as standards, requirements, and work methods.

You will also collaborate with other security coordinators in the Region's security unit. You will participate and contribute to the clinic management work. You will be responsible for coordinating work in security systems, such as alarms and locks. This includes work on perimeter protection, surveillance, security technology, lock systems, access control systems, but also other technology related to security such as gates and work on alarm systems in both closed and open care.

In your role, you will work with the Region's data protection network and are appointed as the business's data protection contact person, reporting to the data protection coordinator and data protection officer. You are involved in all planning around construction projects that may occur. You have a function as a supervisor for our three security operators and also personnel from security companies, although there is no personnel responsibility or recruitment. Together with the clinic's fire safety officer, you are involved in planning and work on routines and exercises in fire protection.

In your role, you will be assigned responsibilities as a fire safety officer, which means that together with the clinic's other fire safety officers, you are involved in the supervision of fire protection and ensure that all security procedures are followed, as well as plan and work on routines and exercises in fire protection. You will be responsible for suitable security training, which means training visiting contractors and newly hired staff, but also disseminating information internally at, for example, workplace meetings.

Information about the position

Permanent position full-time. Working hours are daytime. A driver's license is required. Due to the nature of the operation and the requirements for security, as an applicant to our operation, you must be prepared to provide an extract from the criminal record.

Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreement.
