About the Workplace
Nödinge/Kyrkbyskolan is a F-6 school located behind Ale torg in Nödinge. The school is divided into a primary building and a middle school building on either side of a large schoolyard. The school has nearly 700 students.
You are applying for a position as a substitute teacher in school/after school care at Nödinge F-3 and/or Kyrkby 4-6. The workplace has an open climate, and it is easy to feel welcome as a newcomer. We have a close collaboration with our substitutes and actively work to ensure they feel included in the workplace.
Job Responsibilities
As a substitute, you need to be flexible and proactive as you may be placed in different contexts on short notice - sometimes in several different places on the same day. Whenever possible, you will receive clear instructions to follow when you are responsible for a group or a student, but in certain situations, you may be required to come up with suggestions and ideas on what can be done.
This may involve substitutes both during school hours and during after-school activities, which differ in many ways. You are of course welcome to express which tasks you are comfortable performing, and we will try to take that into account to the extent that the operations allow.
Qualifications
You have completed your high school studies and are confident in your adult role. You are flexible and can adapt to different situations. You dare to take your own initiative and can be self-sufficient as needed. You communicate clearly with both staff and students.
Any experience working with children and youth is an advantage.

We will call for interviews on an ongoing basis and will prioritize applicants who have experience working with children and youth.
