Job Description

As a Network Engineer, you will be a key person responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure for our clients. You will work both independently and in collaboration with other team members to ensure that our clients' networks are stable, secure, and efficient.

Your main responsibilities include:

• We are looking for a network engineer to join our client's team working on the development and maintenance of their data center network and access network. We seek an expert with a focus on skills in Cisco, Fortinet, and Palo Alto network components to complement existing resources and ensure staffing in several development projects within the network.
• Experience in designing/running an IT Infrastructure lab.
• Design and implement network solutions based on the client's needs and requirements
• Perform configuration, installation, and deployment of network equipment and services
• Perform troubleshooting and problem-solving of network-related issues
• Conduct security reviews and implement security measures to protect the network infrastructure
• Document and report network configurations and changes

In the role of a consultant, you are our face to the client, which requires good customer service and a professional attitude. We are looking for a humble and honest person who shows interest and curiosity about the task. The requirements for the position include:

• At least 10-12 years of relevant work experience as a Network Engineer/System Technician
• 10 years of current and relevant work experience in Cisco routing and switching
• 10 years of current and relevant work experience in Cisco ISE
• 10 years of current and relevant work experience in GetVPN
• 5 years of work experience in Fortinet
• 5 years of work experience in PaloAlto
• Higher education in IT technology/network/security or other relevant education combined with work experience that we assess to be relevant for the position
• Experience working with some of the following areas: Windows (server and client), Network infrastructure, and IT security
• Ability to work independently and in a team, with good communication skills
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Desirable experience:

• Experience and good knowledge of Cisco Catalyst Center
• Experience in designing and developing an IT Infrastructure lab.
• Experience working in a government agency with more than 10,000 employees
• Experience with Agile methodology according to Scrum and working in the Jira tool

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security protection regulations, which includes the requirement of Swedish citizenship.

This assignment is performed at the client's premises in Solna. Possibility for hybrid work a couple of days a week is available.
