Yrkesgymnasiet Göteborg is looking for a high school teacher in mathematics.

Our students are prepared in the best possible way for their future careers with the support of their mentors and dedicated educators.

We offer a 50% position as a mathematics teacher, and there is also the possibility to work as a substitute when needed. We work in 2-week blocks where our students have school for 2 weeks and APL for 2 weeks.

We are looking for someone who:

• Wants to teach mathematics in an inspiring way and has solid subject competence.
• Is engaged in the role of mathematics in society and communicates this to students.
• Stays updated on the latest in mathematics education and wants to teach in a realistic and subject-integrated approach.
• Plans, documents, and implements their teaching in accordance with the guidelines regulated by the governing documents for upper secondary school in the Swedish National Agency for Education's curricula.

Qualifications

You have a teaching degree and teaching license as well as solid subject competence in mathematics.
