About the Company

Polyamp develops and manufactures its own AC/DC and DC/DC converters, with high reliability for use in demanding environments. We are also specialists in systems for missile protection equipment for Swedish and international naval forces, as well as sensors that measure electric fields underwater – with both civilian and military applications. We are in an exciting growth phase and are now expanding our organization with a service technician. Our headquarters is located in Sollentuna and manufacturing takes place in Åtvidaberg, where this position is based.

Your Responsibilities

As a service technician at Polyamp, you will have a varied role with a clear purpose – to ensure that our products always maintain the highest quality. You will work with testing and troubleshooting our wide range of products and systems, where electrical diagrams and measuring equipment are important tools. The job also includes production preparation tasks such as cable routing, assembly, and installations. The position is primarily based at our facility, but in the long term, you will also perform service and installations at our customers, which involves travel both within Sweden and internationally.

You will be part of a competent and helpful team where collaboration is key, while also being given significant responsibility and room to influence your work.

Your Profile

We believe that you are a curious, analytical, and solution-oriented person who thrives when you can combine your technical skills with practical work. You find technology exciting, and you do not settle for "something is broken" but want to understand why something is broken. You have the ability to independently drive your work forward, take responsibility for the quality of what you do, and have a strong desire to develop. Additionally, you possess a natural ability to meet customers in a professional and trustworthy manner.

We would like you to have a background in electrical engineering - either from education or acquired through work experience. Perhaps you currently work as a service technician with a focus on electricity, consumer electronics, or heating and cooling systems and want to take the next step in your career. Or you may be an electrical designer looking for a role in a flat organization where you can help develop troubleshooting and testing routines.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Good knowledge of interpreting, understanding, and troubleshooting using electrical diagrams and measuring equipment.
• Computer skills and the ability to navigate in business systems and the Office environment.
• The ability to collaborate, communicate, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
