Senior Network Technician with Cisco Expertise

Responsibilities

In the role of senior network technician, you will be an important part of the client's network team and work on both the development and maintenance of data center networks and access networks. You will play a central role in several ongoing and upcoming development projects, focusing on office relocations and lifecycle management of the access network.

Your work will involve designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting network solutions based on Cisco technology, including routing, switching, Catalyst Center, and VXLAN/EVPN. You will also contribute to ensuring a stable and operationally reliable network environment through proactive maintenance, optimization, and upkeep of existing solutions. The role also includes working with DNS/DHCP via Infoblox, as well as migrations and upgrades of network components. As a senior specialist, you are expected to support the team with your expertise in Cisco network components and be a key resource in both projects and daily operations.

Your Profile and Qualifications

Requirements:

• At least 8 years of current and relevant work experience with large and complex Campus/WAN networks
• At least 8 years of work experience with Cisco routing and switching
• At least 2 years of current and relevant work experience with Cisco Catalyst Center
• At least 2 years of experience with VXLAN/EVPN
• Experience with Infoblox DNS/DHCP
• Experience with migrations and upgrades of IT infrastructure components focusing on networks
• Experience with practical work in maintenance, lifecycle management, and upkeep of IT infrastructure components

Preferred:

• Experience working at a large authority
• Experience working in the ticket management system ServiceNow
