IT Staffing is a subsidiary of the IT consulting company Xperta AB, specializing in IT infrastructure.

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a support technician for the client's IT service desk department. The assignment is a long-term consulting position that includes good opportunities for development and the possibility of employment with the client in the long run. The client is located in southern Stockholm (suburb) and is a large company operating throughout the Nordic region. The service desk is a close-knit team where collaboration and good communication are highly valued. 

The position should be filled as soon as possible, and interviews will therefore be conducted on an ongoing basis.

The tasks within 1st line Service Desk include:

  • Informing, guiding, and assisting users in the daily use of supported systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Receiving, registering, coordinating, and reporting information, requests, needs, questions, and problems related to the effective use of IT by the client.
  • Being the link between users, the client's IT, and external suppliers.
  • Receiving, registering, following up, and reporting cases until they are resolved and closed.
  • Assisting with onboarding and offboarding, account administration, and hardware ordering.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have good knowledge of English and Swedish, both spoken and written. Knowledge of Norwegian is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • You have a strong customer focus and enjoy providing professional service.
  • You are a quick learner and can quickly familiarize yourself with new systems and technologies.
  • You are cheerful and social and find it easy to collaborate with others.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can handle multiple cases and processes simultaneously.

Your skills:

We would like you to have experience in IT support or technical customer service, but it is advantageous if you have experience with all or some of the following systems, programs, and tools:

  • Support tools used for system administration, troubleshooting, and problem-solving, such as:
      • Ticketing system (Freshservice)
      • Remote support via TeamViewer
      • Antivirus protection (Symantec Endpoint Protection)
      • AVD – virtual desktop.
      • Office 365 suite
      • SharePoint
      • Active Directory
      • Azure
      • VPN
      • Microsoft Endpoint Manager
      • MDM (Mobile Device Management)
      • Windows 10 & 11
      • Knowledge of Agresso (Business System) is an advantage
