Personal assistance is an intervention according to LSS (The Act concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each customer is unique, and your tasks vary based on the customer's needs. You respect the customer's self-determination and privacy, and contribute to making everyday life run smoothly.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to build good relationships. We are therefore looking for someone who is self-assured, flexible, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done. We prefer female applicants for the position, but personal suitability will be of great importance.

We are now looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• wants to work with a woman in her 30s living in Skellefteå
• has good knowledge of Swedish
• if there are furry pets in your household, you can come to work without fur on your clothes
• can work a full-time position
• can work during the day, evenings, weekends, and nights if needed

It is also advantageous if you:

• have experience working as a personal assistant or in another healthcare profession
• have experience with floor lifts
• previous experience working with individuals with muscle diseases and/or osteoporosis
• have experience with respirators
• have a B driver's license and access to a car
• share the customer's interests

Working hours, employment level, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is 100%. The job involves working during the day, evenings, and every other weekend. The customer also has assistance at night, and you need to be able to work nights (active) occasionally if the need arises. We are also looking for hourly substitutes who can work extra as needed.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensations are made according to collective agreements.

Start date

We hope you can start a position immediately or as soon as possible by agreement.

Being employed at Humana

A prerequisite for starting employment with us at Humana is that you can present valid ID and any documents that support your right to work in Sweden. To work as a personal assistant, you must be at least 18 years old.
