Nurse Practitioners Wanted at Ålidhems Health Center

Region Västerbotten conducts extensive primary care activities throughout Västerbotten County, meeting patients of all ages, both in urban and rural areas. With 33 health centers and medical clinics, we are where you are. We actively engage in research and development, utilizing medical results to provide high-quality care where the patient is involved. Important areas of development for us include needs-based healthcare offerings and the development of digital services. We see great value in collaborating with other community actors.

The Primary Care Area East is a base unit consisting of Ålidhems and Holmsund health centers. The base unit's mission also includes the primary care emergency service. Ålidhems health center is located on Tvistevägen, near Ålidhems center in Umeå. The health center has approximately 22,700 registered patients, and we have about 90 employees who make this possible. The primary care emergency service, which receives patients with acute conditions during weekends and evenings, is located in our premises. The district nurses working there come from five health centers, and the catchment area includes Umeå and surrounding municipalities.

We are now looking for two district nurses with experience in or interest in primary care for temporary positions at Ålidhems health center and the primary care emergency service. We offer a varied and developing workplace with a clear patient focus.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a district nurse with us, you contribute knowledge and commitment that makes people feel secure.

You will work with telephone advice, reception work, vaccinations, and partially in the primary care emergency service. The work is varied and exciting, with opportunities for further education and development in areas such as asthma/COPD, diabetes, incontinence, and health examinations.

The work is primarily scheduled during the day, but evening and weekend shifts are included as you will also be part of our primary care emergency service.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are primarily looking for you who are a district nurse, but licensed nurses are also welcome to apply. It is advantageous if you have professional experience in primary care or emergency care. Furthermore, it is beneficial if you have knowledge of English and experience working with children with asthma/allergies, asthma/COPD patients, or diabetes patients.
