Working as a Systems Engineer in Hardware

As a systems engineer, you will primarily work with our development and delivery projects involving exciting technology in advanced systems. You will be involved in various phases of the projects from initial requirements analysis through development, production, maintenance to phase-out. You will also have numerous contacts with both internal and external parties and participate in various networks and forums. You will work product-oriented and project-oriented.

As a systems engineer, you will be responsible for the technical requirements and interface issues in one of our high-tech products. You will closely collaborate with many of the different sections within our design department as well as with other stakeholders in our organization. The many points of contact and involvement throughout the product lifecycle make this position both flexible and stimulating.

The work as a systems engineer mainly includes the following:

•  Responsibility for managing technical requirements for our products and breaking them down into manageable levels with a focus on HW
• In collaboration with product and project management, customers, and other requirement setters, ensure that the current system's requirements correspond to the expected delivery
• During the development phase, follow the system through development, integration, and verification
• To support HW development
• Participate in bidding work as needed

We are looking for you who:

• Are a civil engineer or equivalent
• Have several years of experience as a systems engineer or similar where you have worked closely with development and technical requirements
• Have experience in product development
• Excellent communication skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS is also considered a merit

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable regulations for security protection. For positions where there is a requirement for security classification, this may, in certain cases, entail a requirement for Swedish citizenship.
