We are looking for new staff to work as after-school personnel at the elementary school's after-school program. Job Description:

You will be involved in developing the educational work together with your colleagues and with the students in the after-school program. You collaborate with educators in your team to provide students with an inspiring learning environment where they can develop their skills. Together with your colleagues in the team, you plan, implement, and evaluate the teaching in the after-school program.

As after-school personnel at Bladins Elementary School, you will be a key person in our students' daily lives. You work in our after-school program, which is a place where students in grades F-6 can play, learn, and grow after school hours. You collaborate with educators in your team to provide students with an inspiring learning environment where they can develop their skills. Your role is to create a safe and stimulating environment where each student has the opportunity to develop their interests and social skills.

The position is a 100% term contract with the possibility of extension.

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications:

  • At least three years of documented experience working with children with neuropsychiatric disabilities (NPF).
  • Good ability to manage and respond to challenging behaviors in a professional and low-arousal manner.
  • Good collaboration skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, colleagues, and guardians.
  • Relevant education, such as social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or further education in areas such as NPF or special education.
  • Knowledge of structured pedagogical methods and adaptations for students with special needs.
  • Fluent Swedish in speech and writing.

You are confident, stable, and resilient in the face of challenging situations and have a well-developed sense of finding solutions instead of seeing obstacles. We expect you to be both a leader and a team player who values collaboration with colleagues.

A valid extract from the criminal record is required.

Bladins School is an independent school with a long history, consisting of preschool, elementary school, international school, and high school with a total of over 1600 students. Bladins elementary school is a single-parallel school with 840 students and over a hundred staff members. The school is located in premises at Själlandstorget in central Malmö. In each grade, we have 84 students divided into three groups. At our school, every student is seen, and we cherish our daily interactions with our students where we are clear adult role models. We know each other and show respect and empathy for one another as a staff and with our students. From the start of school up to grade 9, we take into account each student's personal maturity and allow each student to develop according to their ability. We work purposefully to ensure that our students develop and feel secure with multiple adults.
