We are now looking for two residential support workers to join our team at Smedjevägen 28A (formerly Dalen). We offer training and a developing job where you can make a difference! The positions are part-time, approximately 70-90%. About Smedjevägen 28A (Formerly Dalen) Smedjevägen 28A (formerly Dalen) is a group home located in Urshult in Tingsryd Municipality. The group home is centrally located in the community and also has close proximity to nature. The work team at Smedjevägen 28A (formerly Dalen) consists of a group leader and residential support workers with extensive experience of the target group they work with. 

About the role As a residential support worker, you will base your work on the individual needs and wishes of the residents and provide support in daily life from a pedagogical perspective. Together with other employees, you will work towards making the day meaningful and enriching. You will support and guide with personal care, meals, medication management, cleaning, community contacts, and communication. An important part of the job is to stimulate and motivate the resident to develop their abilities and create opportunities for an active and meaningful leisure time. Your tasks also include documenting and planning based on implementation plans. Working hours are scheduled during the day, evenings, and weekends. There are also two residential support workers who work awake nights at the unit. 

You will have a group leader close to you who spends part of their time working in the operation. This could also be a future career opportunity for you.  

Your experience and knowledge You who are applying have a high school education in care and welfare or equivalent education. You have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form, good computer skills, and experience in documentation. It is an advantage if you have experience working with the target group. Otherwise, your CV is not the most important thing. If you have the right qualities, we will provide you with support and the opportunity to grow.
