On behalf of the government, the National Property Board of Sweden (SFV) manages our common natural and cultural heritage. We manage a diversity of state-owned properties – including government buildings, courts, castles and royal estates, theaters, museums, embassies, as well as one-seventh of the country's area consisting of forests and land.

SFV Ulriksdal manages six of the royal castles along with their parks and grounds. We also manage buildings and sites such as Nyköping Residens, Nyköpingshus, and Tovetorp Zoological Research Station. Our team consists of an operations manager and four operations technicians, as well as a property manager, two technical property managers, and an administrator. We are now looking for our new operations technician!

Your Role

As an operations technician, you will be responsible for operational and property-related tasks such as fire alarms, supervision and maintenance, fault reports, water and sewage. Electrical work, control and regulation, readings, energy issues, and optimizations are also common tasks. You will collaborate closely with technical property managers and property managers for maintenance and projects. You will also be the contact person for contractors and regulatory inspections. On-call work is included in the position.

You will work 2-3 days in Nyköping. The rest of the time, you will be based at the office in Ulriksdal, Solna, where you will serve as the operations technician for the Ulriksdal and Haga castle areas.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• preferably education in operations technology and secondly education in property management, or equivalent competence from the workplace that we assess as comparable,
• previous experience working with property operations,
• good ability to communicate in Swedish, both spoken and written,
• good computer skills, and
• a B driver's license.

Meritorious:

• experience in the role of operations technician or property technician in a property company,
• experience as a facility manager for fire alarms,
• knowledge of control and regulation technology,
• understanding of electricity, heating, water, and ventilation.

We place great importance on your personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are communicative, collaborative, and structured. A large part of the work is independent and therefore requires experience in solving and managing arising problems.

The position is a permanent full-time employment with a 6-month probationary period. Travel and on-call work are included in the position.
